For those who want more
LD Systems presents MAUI® 44 G3, MAUI® 44 G3 MIX and MAUI® 66 G3 column PAs
LD Systems expands the MAUI G3 series with three powerful column PA systems for professional live applications: MAUI 44 G3, MAUI 44 G3 MIX and MAUI 66 G3. The new models combine the quick, convenient handling of the MAUI series with a fully active 4-way architecture featuring dedicated driver groups, high headroom and controlled cardioid dispersion. They are aimed at DJs, bands and event technology service providers who need more power, low-end response and longer throw for mobile setups without compromising on the familiar plug-and-play convenience of the MAUI column PAs.

More power and low-end response
The MAUI 44 G3 and MAUI 44 G3 MIX feature a newly developed 15" neodymium woofer delivering bass down to 34 Hz. Both systems provide 1,800 W RMS (3,600 W peak) and reach a maximum SPL of 133 dB. The MAUI 66 G3, the most powerful system in the MAUI series, features an 18" neodymium woofer with bass response down to 28 Hz. The system delivers 1,900 W RMS (3,800 W peak) and reaches up to 135 dB SPL. Flow-optimised bass-reflex ports reduce air turbulence and port noise in all three models, so bass remains punchy, precise and well-defined even at high volumes. The DynX® DSP (Gen. 2) with advanced peak, RMS and thermal limiters ensures distortion-free playback even at maximum volume.

Clear midrange, precise treble
The two-piece aluminium columns of the MAUI 44 G3 models house a total of 14 × 3.5" neodymium midrange drivers and four 1" compression drivers. The MAUI 66 G3 expands this configuration to 16 midrange drivers, two of which are positioned above the tweeters to ensure that midrange frequencies are reproduced clearly and with impact even over longer distances. In addition, newly developed phase plugs and a BEM-optimised waveguide in the upper column element ensure uniform sound dispersion over a 120° × 25° pattern. Horn-loaded midrange drivers in the lower element increase the efficiency and headroom of the new MAUI G3 models, enabling powerful, clearly intelligible reproduction of vocals and other sources.

The passive cardioid design of the column focuses the sound energy towards the audience and attenuates rear dispersion in the 100 Hz to 1 kHz range by up to 18 dB, ensuring less unwanted sound reaches the stage. With an additional rear-facing MAUI 44 G3 SUB or MAUI 66 G3 SUB and the cardioid preset activated, the directionality can also be applied to the bass range. Alternatively, when facing forwards, the second subwoofer provides a bass boost of +6 dB.
MAUI 44 G3 MIX
The MAUI 44 G3 MIX adds an integrated 8-channel digital mixer to the MAUI 44 G3’s feature set. A total of eight XLR/jack combo inputs – six of them with integrated microphone preamplifiers – allow direct connection of microphones, instruments and other line-level sources. Bluetooth audio streaming, internal effects and a footswitch input expand the possibilities for live performances with multiple sources. Four monitor outputs are available for independent monitor mixes. An additional system output facilitates the integration of additional components. All mixer and system settings can be controlled either via the integrated colour display or wirelessly using the free MAUI MIX app (iOS and Android). Using SysLink®, users can connect two MAUI 44 G3 MIX units to form a stereo setup with a total of 16 input channels and operate both systems centrally.

Quick setup and easy transport
The MAUI 44 G3 and MAUI 66 G3 each feature two XLR/jack combo inputs, two thru outputs and a dedicated subwoofer output. Wireless audio is conveniently handled via Bluetooth 5.4 with SBC and AAC codecs. All models are quick and easy to set up thanks to cable-free plug-in connections between the subwoofer and column elements as well as the automatic column detection. With their polyurea-coated subwoofer enclosure, powder-coated aluminium columns, four ergonomic carrying handles on the subwoofer and recessed handles in the column elements, the new MAUI G3 models are designed for regular mobile use. Optional accessories include rolling boards, protective covers for the subwoofers, and padded carrying cases for the columns.

The LD Systems MAUI 44 G3 and MAUI 66 G3 are expected to be available at the end of October/early November 2026. The MAUI 44 G3 MIX is expected to follow from mid/end of December 2026. The recommended retail prices are 2,499 EUR for the MAUI 44 G3 and 2,999 EUR each for the MAUI 44 G3 MIX and MAUI 66 G3.
