LD Systems MAILA at the Centro Cultural Vicente Aleixandre

It has taken more than a year to renovate the Centro Cultural Vicente Aleixandre, but now the cultural centre in the Spanish town of Alhaurín de la Torre near Málaga radiates a new splendour. Both the façade and the historic interiors were renovated, and the latter were equipped with modern technology. The old, outdated sound system in the main hall was also replaced. The system integrator, Sonido Martin, opted for a compact LD Systems MAILA line array system to optimise the sound for the wide variety of events at the Centro Cultural Vicente Aleixandre.

The leading K-POP content studio in Seoul relies on LD Systems

Studio Green is located in the centre of Gangnam, Seoul. The modern content studio specialises in music and video productions as well as live performances and offers 330 m2 of space for up to 40 guests – the ideal location for live shows, music videos, interviews, talk shows and album cover photo shoots. For the sound system, its operators turned to the Korean LD Systems and Gravity distributor KOIL, who equipped the studio with a compact and versatile audio system from LD Systems.

LD Systems QUESTRA takes control of audio & lighting at The Grand

A majestic stage for a very special day: ‘The Grand Banqueting Suite’ in Bradford, England is primarily aimed at wedding parties from Asia and offers everything that characterises a magnificent wedding celebration: Plasterwork on walls and ceilings, neoclassical columns, gigantic chandeliers and sweeping staircases for the grand entrance. To ensure that the ‘wow’ factor is also emphasised acoustically, the team from ShropshireNet Limited opted for a multi-zone sound system based on audio solutions from LD Systems. Centralised audio and lighting control is provided by QUESTRA Design & Management Software.

Stagemix Technologies organises LD Systems roadshow events in India

Neu-Anspach – 20 February 2025 – Stagemix Technologies tours India with LD Systems. In November 2024, the exclusive Indian distributor of Adam Hall Group brands LD Systems and Gravity organised three roadshow events in the major cities of Mumbai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. The Stagemix team presented the extensive portfolio of the two brands on site. The focus was placed on the LD Systems MAILA line array system with its flexible application options in the live, event, and fixed installation sectors.

Multi-zone audio system in the Banken Food Hall

Thai food, bowls, flatbreads, burgers, or simply a superb coffee – when you enter the Banken Food Hall in Aarhus, Denmark, the choice is all up to you. Covering an area of around 2,000 square metres, the indoor food court combines eight different culinary options that are used by thousands of visitors every day. The Danish AV integrator ProGear was responsible for the multi-zone sound system of the former historic bank building dating back to the 19th century and utilised a LD Systems’ Dante-based audio system from the Adam Hall Integrated Systems portfolio.

Profox relies on LD Systems and Cameo for Fun Art Blokhus in Denmark

Experiences and activities for the whole family: the Fun Art Blokhus in North Jutland, Denmark, is a combined indoor/outdoor activity park that unites games, events, and catering together. In the completely newly built leisure park, guests can go trampolining, play boules and minigolf, unleash their creativity in the in-house ceramics workshop, or attend one of the many concerts. For these purposes, the operators built their own event hall, which the responsible integrator Profox ApS then outfitted with a vast number of Cameo fixtures. Fun Art Blokhus also offers several bookable meeting rooms equipped with permanently installed sound systems from LD Systems.

PCI Creative Science Park chooses LD Systems and Cameo for its sound and light

With 63 participating companies and over 50 start-ups, the PCI Creative Science Park in Ílhavo, Portugal, brings together entrepreneurs and established companies to collaborate on sustainable projects. In addition to separate buildings for materials science and information electronics, the main building includes a large auditorium for lectures, discussion panels and other events. The AV service provider responsible, Arte & Som, opted for a flown MAILA XL line array system to provide consistent sound coverage in the elongated room with its steeply rising rows of seats. Cameo moving lights and LED bars provide flexible lighting for the stage area.

Inclusive dance project “Babylon” in the hr-Sendesaal with Cameo and LD Systems MAILA®

Have we forgotten how to talk to each other? In times of ubiquitous communication possibilities? Even “Babylon – Miteinander Reden ist Gold” (“talking to one another is golden”) cannot and will not provide a definitive answer to this question. And yet LORENZ Stiftung’s inclusive dance project – which was performed on 9 July 2024 in the Großer Sendesaal of Hessischer Rundfunk – shows what can happen when people without borders come together: opportunity for all, enjoyment of art, and a strong sense of community. Under the stewardship of director and dance teacher Miguel-Angel Zermeño, a total of 150 people – professionals and amateurs, people with and without disabilities – took to the stage, accompanied by live musicians and the eCon GmbH technical team led by project manager Moritz Stüve. Together, all those involved created an extraordinary live experience with powerful images and moving music – supported by a sound and lighting set-up from LD Systems and Cameo.

Lent Festival 2024 relies on Cameo and LD Systems

Nine days full of music, art, and culture – from 21 to 29 June, the historic city centre of Maribor, Slovenia, hosted the 31st Lent Festival. Once again this year, Slovenia’s largest open-air festival was a magnet for tens of thousands of visitors. National and international artists from all musical genres performed on the large and small stages. LD Systems MAILA at KDKlub Horní Bříza

Top sound but with a different spin – that was the simple request made by the operators of the KDKlub Horní Bříza for the new sound system. The cultural centre in the town of Horní Bříza in the west of the Czech Republic is used for various purposes – from concerts and club nights to school dances, weddings, and discussion groups – and required an equally versatile PA system capable of adapting to every type of event. In the KDKlub’s 230-square-metre main room, the systems integrator responsible for the project Divadelní služby Plzeň opted for a suspended LD Systems MAILA system.

In the arena geisingen, everything revolves around inline skating. On 25,000 m2 of infield space, amateur skaters can take their first steps and competitive athletes can compete for national and international titles in front of up to 3,000 spectators. Since 2023, the arena geisingen has had a new indoor sound system for the track and the spectator stands. In order to provide the acoustically demanding hall with a homogeneous sound with high speech intelligibility, the responsible technology service provider to-pro installed a STINGER G3 system from LD Systems.
