From dinner to the dance floor:
Flexible audio and lighting technology for La Maison Louveciennes
Just 20 minutes from Paris, La Maison Louveciennes unites French gastronomy with a versatile event concept. The restaurant, lounge, and bar combined with a terrace and seasonal beach area not only changes atmosphere throughout the day, but also places different demands on sound and lighting. The French service provider KFL Integration developed a permanent audio and lighting solution for La Maison using products from LD Systems and Cameo as well as QUESTRA as a central control platform. The concept’s flexibility was exhibited at the latest Fête de la Musique: for the live event, which is known nationwide, the permanent installation was enhanced with an additional sound system and show-lighting set-up.
Different rooms, individual sound system
From the very beginning, KFL integration had to balance technical performance with the high-quality design of the venue. Instead of covering all areas with the same loudspeaker type, the sound system was specifically adapted to suit the different zones. In the main restaurant, four white LD Systems DQOR 8 8" Indoor/Outdoor Two-way Installation Speakers deliver smooth music reproduction. Two additional DQOR 8 units were integrated directly into the reception area’s furniture, while two black models were used in the intimate lounge area. Six white DQOR 8s on the terrace distribute the audio signal across the outdoor area.
The seasonal beach area required a special solution. Here KFL installed nine COG 52 Garden Speakers in 100 V technology. Given its proximity to the Seine and the associated flood risk, the cabling was designed to allow the speakers to be quickly dismantled at the end of the season.

More reserves for the bar and dance floor
Different requirements applied around the bar and dance floor area. Here, the system had to adapt effortlessly from relaxed background music to higher sound levels in the evening. For this reason, KFL opted for the compact CURV 500 Array System. On the dance floor, three CURV 500 S2 Satellites per side form the main sound system, supported by CURV 500 I SUB 10" Installation Subwoofers integrated into the wall. Further S2 Satellites along the bar ensure that the sound is maintained throughout the entire area. Additional subwoofers extend the rich, full-bodied sound for parties and events.
The different zones converge in the technical rack. A DSP 45 K 4-Channel Power Amplifier, a CURV 500 I AMP Installation Amplifier for CURV 500 Systems, and an IPA 424 T 4-Channel Installation Power Amp provide amplification and signal processing. The audio signals can be integrated into the networked infrastructure via the DIO 44 Dante Interface. An RSMP Radio Streaming Media Player is also available for daily music reproduction. In addition, a Message Scheduler-Streamer Music Player (MSMP) was incorporated into the overall security concept: in the event of an alarm, the music being played can be muted immediately to broadcast an emergency announcement.
Easy control via QUESTRA
The more areas and usage scenarios a location covers, the more important it becomes for easy operation in everyday life. In La Maison, the central control and management of the individual audio zones is overseen by QUESTRA. A QTP 5 Touch Panel gives restaurant staff access to the functions, levels, and signal sources relevant to daily operations, without being distracted by the complex signal distribution in the background. Especially for a venue such as La Maison, where requirements vary over the course of the day, the control via QUESTRA becomes a key element of the overall concept: the technology adapts to the operation – not vice versa.

Light between dinner and the dance floor
The permanently installed Cameo lighting also follows this approach. During regular restaurant operations, it primarily complements the venue’s architecture and atmosphere. Cameo H1 Houselights positioned above the bar tables provide uniform lighting that blends discreetly into the interior. Four ROOT PAR 6 RGBAWs + UV LED PAR Lights in the bar area make different colours and intensities possible for the transition from daytime to evening operation. Four more ROOT PAR 6s continue the lighting concept on the terrace.
As soon as the dance floor becomes the focal point, two OTOS W3 IP65 Wash Moving Heads bring movement, colour, and additional visual depth to the room. The permanently installed lights are controlled via a DMX Controller in conjunction with a Cameo iDMX T3 Transmitter.
Fête de la Musique
The Fête de la Musique celebration held in summer 2026 showcased how flexibly the basic concept described above can be expanded. For the live event, KFL Integration supplemented the existing permanently installed infrastructure with a separate LD Systems sound system set-up. Four MAUI 44 G2 Column PA Systems provided the foundation for temporary live sound in La Maison’s outdoor area. Thanks to its slim column design, the MAUIs easily integrated into the environment and provided additional power reserves for concert operation.
The link between the temporary and permanent systems was critical here: the live signal was fed into the existing restaurant sound system, extending the concert experience beyond the immediate stage area to the rest of the venue without requiring a completely separate infrastructure.
From ambient lighting to event lighting
La Maison also switched to a different lighting mode for the Fête de la Musique. While the permanent installation was deliberately kept discreet during daytime operation, the technology for the concert was given a more prominent role in the show. Among the fixtures used for these tasks were two Cameo AZOR S2 Spot Moving Heads, which provided dynamic movements and precise beams. Four ZENIT Z120 G2 LED-PAR Lights were added to the showlight set-up for intensive and evenly distributed colours. Two MATRIX PANELS 10 W RGB added further visual elements to the stage backdrop.
Two STEAM WIZARD 2000 Fog Machines as well as one 1500 T PER Hazer were also used for greater spatial impact. To be able to flexibly integrate individual lights into the temporary stage design, these were positioned on Gravity Totem stands. Together with the additional MAUI Sound System, a fully-fledged live environment was created for a single, special evening – without altering the restaurant’s fundamental character.

If an entertainment centre is called MAXIMUM, it really ought to have plenty to offer its guests. And the operators of Denmark’s largest indoor theme park chain have been following this principle for many years: bowling, laser games, escape rooms, restaurants and much more offer a wide variety of entertainment for young and old alike – and since 2026 it has, at long last, also had a presence in the capital Copenhagen. The Danish integrator Profox has been responsible for the planning and installation of AVL technology at the various sites for several years. At MAXIMUM in Copenhagen, the company relied, amongst other things, on audio and lighting solutions from LD Systems and Cameo.

In the heart of the French department of Aveyron lies one of the most extraordinary sites in French culinary culture: the Roquefort Société Caves. The famous Roquefort AOP blue cheese has been maturing in these natural caves for centuries. Year after year, over 100,000 people visit the extensive network of tunnels and vaults. As part of an extensive redesign of the visitor experience, the French integrator STE AUDIO, in collaboration with the team from Adam Hall Integrated Systems, developed a fully integrated audio, lighting and control solution that brings the history of the caves to life in a completely new way.
A grand finale, discreet technology – LD Systems and Cameo in the hospitality areas for Europe’s football elite
When Europe’s two best club teams meet to compete for the most prestigious trophy in European club football, it’s not just the on-pitch proceedings that have to run perfectly. Behind the scenes, it is also essential to provide thousands of guests in the various hospitality areas with a first-class experience. For the dramatic 2026 final at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, several exclusive VIP areas were equipped with audio and lighting technology from LD Systems and Cameo. The Hungarian full-service provider MD Rental was responsible for the technical planning, integration and on-site operation. At the heart of the project was the LD Systems QUESTRA platform, which controlled all audio areas efficiently and almost invisibly in the background.
Luxury on the Coast of Light:
With its tropical gardens, diverse restaurants, expansive pool areas, and impressive architecture, the Royal Hideaway Sancti Petri on the Costa de la Luz offers its guests a resort experience of the highest calibre. This multi-award-winning 5-star hotel in the province of Cádiz is one of Spain’s most renowned holiday destinations, combining relaxation, fine dining, wellness, and event culture in a unique setting. To meet the varying needs of its numerous indoor and outdoor areas, the hotel decided to undertake a comprehensive modernisation of its audio and lighting infrastructure. The Spanish integrator Evel Eventos was responsible for the planning and implementation, relying on solutions from LD Systems and Cameo.
Welcome to Wrexham – QUESTRA manages Audio, Video and Lighting at Tŷ Pawb
The Disney+ series ‘Welcome to Wrexham’, documenting the miraculous rise of Wrexham AFC, has made this small Welsh town world-famous. However, Wrexham has far more to offer than just football and some famous supporters from Hollywood. In 2018, Tŷ Pawb opened as a modern, multi-purpose and multi-award-winning venue that brings together galleries, concerts, dining and local retailers in an open, vibrant setting. To meet the complex AV technical requirements for Tŷ Pawb’s wide range of uses, the AV integrator responsible, ORB Sound & Lighting, opted for an integrated audio, video and lighting control system based on the LD Systems QUESTRA platform.
Modern audio technology at the university
Whether it’s an info event, a panel discussion, a public lecture or an exam – the event hall at HFT Stuttgart (University of Applied Sciences) is used throughout the year for a wide variety of events. Consequently, the demands placed on the sound system in the approximately 240 m² hall, which can accommodate around 350 people across two levels, are correspondingly high. As the existing equipment was becoming increasingly outdated, HFT Stuttgart decided to modernise its media technology in stages. For the new sound system, the integrator responsible, PPM Stuttgart, opted for a discreet yet flexible system based on the compact LD Systems CURV 500 array system.
A perfect setting for a very special day
Whether it’s a state-of-the-art, newly built in-the-round theatre or a historic cultural centre with decades of history, theatres are among the most versatile venue types of all. This technical and artistic range is also embodied by two recently completed theatre installations in England, which were implemented using solutions from the Adam Hall Integrated Systems portfolio: while the newly opened Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre in the London district of the same name uses audio solutions from LD Systems, the time-honoured The Coro in Ulverston has employed lights and signal distributors from Cameo to modernise its lighting technology.
Captivated by the elements
A historic place of worship is transformed into an audiovisual experience: with ‘ELEMENTS’, the Church of Sant Gaietà, in the heart of Palma de Mallorca, becomes a 360° multimedia spectacle combining light, sound and video projection. The installation tells a visual story centred on the four elements —water, fire, air and earth— with the figure of the Mallorcan philosopher Ramon Llull as the fifth element. For 25 minutes, visitors are immersed in an audiovisual composition developed by the artistic collective Dalumen Lab for Spiritual Mallorca, which fully integrates the church’s architecture. The system was installed by Auvipro Audiovisuales, which utilised installation solutions from LD Systems and Cameo, all controlled via the LD Systems QUESTRA platform.
A perfect setting for a very special day
Elegance, atmosphere and heartfelt emotion: the Amington Hall Wedding Suites in Birmingham, UK, offer the perfect setting for unforgettable weddings and events. With the spacious Amington Suite for up to 400 guests and the more intimate Serenity Suite for up to 200 people, the venue combines elegant design with maximum flexibility. Complemented by a foyer, bridal room and a spacious garden area, it creates a comprehensive wedding experience – from the initial preparations to the big moment itself. To meet these requirements on a technical level, AV integrator HPI Building Services created an integrated audio and lighting solution based on LD Systems and Cameo – controlled via the central LD Systems QUESTRA software platform.
Less is more
An evening at Nögen (‘nøgen’ is Danish for ‘naked, uncovered’) is more than just a meal – it’s a statement. Located in the heart of the Danish city of Aarhus, the restaurant combines minimalist fine dining with a highly sustainable approach: Every week, new menus are created from leftover ingredients, inspired by the best regional products. The goal: to avoid food waste while offering an extraordinary culinary experience. As of recently, a combination of LD Systems loudspeakers and curated playlists from music-for-business specialist TuneButler provides the perfect acoustic backdrop for these consciously designed moments of indulgence.
